I hope you find information here on some of the accomplishments that I have been fortunate to have worked on over the past twenty years of legislative service. I have worked hard to promote a compassionate conservatism that I believe has made our state more prosperous, more livable and better prepared to meet the challenges of the future. In 2019, I am looking forward to the final year of this 4-year legislative term. Session began on January 8, 2019, and lasts approximately 90 days. This is a re-election which typically is a lower key year than the first three, however, there are always opportunities and challenges that we will face. I hope that we will be able to pass a teacher pay raise for the first time in several years and hope that there will be some economic development projects that we get to work on this session also.
